Thanks to all of you, Christmas wishes came true………………
 
This year an idea to raise money, Casino Night, oh, what fun!
In just a few short weeks all the planning was done…
Black Jack, Poker and the Wheel of Roulette,
All proceeds for a good cause, everyone placed their bets!
Good food and good drinks, silent auctions items to bid,
A successful fundraiser we had and good times we sure did!Those who could not make it, your donations were very generous. Hopefully next years Casino Night we will see you, betting with the rest of us!

T’was 13 days til Christmas, but the celebration had begun,
It’s another Maryvale Christmas, and we were ready for fun! 
The girls rushed into the gym, little did they know
Festivities await them, Christmas lights all a glow
D.J. Jose played requests, as they danced & sang their hearts out
Played freeze dance and limbo, so much laughter and fun, no doubt!
Wolf Gang Puck prepared a feast, what a wonderful surprise,
The girls starred at the buffet, with eyes open wide,
From turkey, stuffing and baked ham, delicious Mac and Cheese was a hit,
Feeding happy faces at a long table, the Maryvale family did sit!
Then the whispers begun…”hurry come sit down, He’s arrived.”
“Where is He, I don’t see Him” one precious little girl cried.
And in the blink of an eye, Santa and helpers appeared,
The room filled with joy and all the girls stood and cheered.
His rosy cheeks and grand smile, his deep, Ho-Ho Ho,
His furry red trousers and jacket, his white beard soft as snow.
He greeted the girls, and one by one he gave a special gift,
Smile for a keepsake photo with Santa and an item from their wish list!
They tore open their gifts all together, on the count of three,
Their faces lit up with excitement as they began to see
That they got what they wished for and this year much more,
Hand made scarves, games, and movies, cool bags too, what a score!
As the sun went down and the party came to an end,
Treat bags of homemade cookies to each girl we did send.

Although the Maryvale girls were not “home” for this years Christmas,

It is because of you they still got to celebrate and that they will always cherish

We know we said before but we’ll say it again and again,
We could not have done this without all of you, true angel and friend!
